What litigation management means in practice
We identify and retain appropriate legal counsel for each matter. Once counsel is in place, we take ownership of the management layer: from coordinating the flow of documents to reviewing all recommendations and budgets before they reach the client.
Lawyers give advice. We do not challenge it – that is not our role. What we do is ask the questions that turn legal advice into a commercial decision:
- Can the claim realistically be pursued within budget?
- Can a judgment be enforced where it actually matters?
- Does an appeal or other challenge to the judgment remain open?
These are not questions clients typically think to ask, since they are not expected to know the underlying framework – public policy exceptions, recognition regimes, procedural traps.
